This 1967 Oldsmobile 442 has undergone a professional frame-off restoration and is powered by a 400 CI V8 paired with a Tremec 5-speed transmission (console still shows the original 4-speed shift pattern). Finished in its factory-correct Spanish Red with a matching red interior, it features a recent professionally applied ceramic coating for extra shine and protection.
Highlights include factory air conditioning (converted to R134a), factory tach and gauges, power steering, power brakes with front discs, SS1 Rallye wheels with new redline radial tires, and polished chrome and stainless trim. The undercarriage is clean and sealed, the engine bay is detailed, and the factory A/C blows cold.
Inside, you’ll find a restored vinyl interior, newer carpeting, headliner, and seat belts, plus a modern AM/FM radio in the dash. The dashboard, gauges, and center console present beautifully. The car includes a spare, has been recently serviced, and all gauges and lights function properly.
This 442 drives tight and smooth, delivering plenty of power and an excellent sound. Believed to have just 3,190 miles on the odometer, this Olds is a standout in its striking red-over-red color combination.

What is the button or switch above the air conditioner on the drivers side?
Never got a answer to red button above the air-condition vent on drivers side?
Would you please confirm when professional restoration was completed?
Also, would you please share the date code on the new tires (what month/year produced)?
What is the rear-end gearing, and is it limited slip/posi?
Finally, is there any documentation/receipts of the restoration that would be passed on to the new owner?
Many thanks – a stellar 442!!
We are working on getting your questions answered, sorry for the delay
Thank you for your questions. The restoration was completed in the last 15 years. I don’t have a specific date. The information came by way of the previous owner, and his info came from the owner from whom he got the car. The car looks pretty great, another words, it’s held up well. In my opinion the restoration was probably 10-15 years old. All four tires are dated the 42nd week of 2022 . The rear-end appears to be a 3.73 posi. I was not given any docs. and neither was the previous owner whom I got it from. Please let me know if you have other questions.
Thank you! Indeed, appears to have held up well, and the paint in the photos looks good for 10-15 years.
Beautiful! When the engine was being rebuilt was any goodies installed to give it more horsepower or tongue?
from the seller:
Sorry, I dont have documents that would explain what might have been done to enhance the performance. As far as my information goes it was restored to factory spec.
