Jaguar described the XJ-S model as “nimble & powerful, yet eminently civilized,” perfectly capturing the essence of these sophisticated sport-touring cars. Known for their stunning design and robust V-12 engines, the 1989 and 1990 models, crafted before Ford’s ownership brought design changes, have become increasingly collectible. With elegant styling, a road-hugging independent suspension, and luxurious interiors, the XJ-S remains a timeless classic.

Presenting this stunning 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Coupe, finished in a striking Signal Red exterior with Warm Charcoal soft leather upholstery. Under the hood lies a powerful 5.3L V-12 engine producing 263 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission and a 2.88:1 limited-slip differential for smooth grand touring. It was purchased in 2014 by a new owner in Iowa with just 24,630 miles.

Routine maintenance has been consistently performed, keeping this XJ-S in top condition. The car received a new headliner in 2014, front shocks in 2016, and a new battery in 2021. The current owner, based in St. Louis, acquired it in 2021 with 26,200 miles. In 2022, it received a comprehensive service at Schwarz Ltd, including cam tower resealing, thermostat and gasket replacement, and new coolant hoses. New radial tires were fitted in spring 2022 at 27,378 miles. Recently, hood struts, an engine oil change, air conditioning service, and transmission service were completed at 29,486 miles.

This Jaguar comes with the original owner’s manual, two sets of keys, an original cassette head cleaning kit, XJ-S audio instruction tape, service records dating back to 2000, paint touch-up bottle, spare tire with cover, jack, storage bag, and lug nut wrench. The paint appears to be original with consistent meter readings, and a clean CarFax shows no accident history. Factory VIN stickers remain intact on all body panels, and having never been exposed to inclement weather, the under-hood and undercarriage are exceptionally well-preserved.
