- The SLS AMG GT was released for the 2013 model year and offered 20 more horsepower than the SLS AMG, propelling the car from a standstill to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. It features an aluminum space frame and body panels, and it came equipped with a carbon fiber driveshaft, AMG's adaptive suspension, high-performance brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear aluminum calipers painted in red, 19 and 20-inch staggered-width alloy wheels, speed-sensitive power steering, and a retractable rear wing that also acted as an airbrake when braking.
- Power comes from a hand-built ""M159"" 6.3-liter V8, which produces 583 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The front-mid-mounted engine spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential.
