A true chrome bumper classic, its sure to turn heads and make someone a proud owner of a fun, road-ready convertible. This numbers-matching Corvette is powered by a 350ci V8 engine rated at 300 horsepower, backed by an automatic transmission. It shows 91,399 original miles and comes with a striking blue interior, rally wheels, a black convertible top, and a matching blue hard top. Its equipped with power windows, power brakes, power steering, dual exhaust, air conditioning, a Delco AM/FM radio, and original components including the valve covers, ignition shielding, and air cleaner assembly. A luggage rack rounds out its classic good looks and functionality. We drove this Corvette 3.5 hours home, and it ran and drove great the entire way. After bringing it home, we performed a series of maintenance tasks and upgrades to ensure its ready for more miles. This included an oil and filter change, transmission fluid and filter service, a full chassis inspection and lubrication, and the replacement of the upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, front shocks, sway bar links, tail shaft seal, and wiper motor. The previous owner also invested in this cars upkeep. They replaced the trailing arms, rear shocks, strut rods, side axles, and U-joints, and rebuilt the rear end. Additionally, the Corvette was repainted and received seat covers, carpet, and door panels, giving the interior a refreshed, clean look. 1969 was the second year for the C3 generation corvette. It was the last year for no fender flares, the 3 speed transmission option, and the L71 427/435hp, L88 427/430Hp, and L68 427/400Hp engine options. This was the first year that the T-top corvette out-sold the convertible with 22,129 T-tops being built and only 16,633 convertibles being built.

Hobby Car Auto Sales, Inc. is owned and operated by Bob and R.J. Sottile, a father and son team. It started as a hobby and evolved into our family business, hence the name Hobby Cars. We opened our business in 1986 with just 13 Corvettes. We have expanded our inventory so that now there are over 70 Corvettes available. Because of this, we were able to expanded our original building two years ago. The addition of our new building has helped us to house more of our inventory.
Bob, the owner, has been involved in the car industry his entire life. He started out pumping gas at a local gas station and from there was hooked. He has owned a variety of different cars over the years, but he has built his business selling Corvettes.Through hard work and long hours, Bob turned his love of cars into a business he can be proud of.
RJ, the head salesman, has been in this position since the age of three. He has worked in the family business side by side with his dad his entire childhood. After high school, he attended WyoTech, where he received an Associates Degree in business. RJ has taken the family business to the next level by making it available globally online. You can find him under the hood of a corvette, in the showroom with a customer, listing new inventory online, or on the road searching for new Corvettes to buy.
Mason, the junior head salesman, is the new kid in town. He loves coming to the shop to work with Pappy and RJ. He is learning about Corvettes side by side with Pappy just like RJ used to do.
