"Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you this iconic 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that's right, we've got a Smokey & the Bandit car! Burt Reynolds made this car famous back in the 70s, and they've become a collectible classic ever since. This beauty is definitely a cut above most that you'll find on the market today! It comes to us today dressed in glossy high-driver quality black paint that's accented with gold pinstriping and the signature ""Hood Bird"" decal. Up front, you'll find a split honeycomb grille with dual side-by-side square headlights all framed in bright trim and gold pinstriping. The shaker hood features a scoop with ""T/A 6.6"" decals that let you know it's got a Pontiac 400 V-8 hiding underneath. The side view of this T/A offers plenty of styling elements to entice the eye. Flares ahead of both the front and rear wheels give it a ""going fast while sitting still"" look, while molded fender vents add to the sporty appeal. The fender vents are accented with pinstriping, and beneath them are ""TRANS AM"" decals. Bright trim frames both the windshield and rear window, and all windows are surrounded by the gold striping. Both doors offer black side mirrors with gold accents, black edge guards, and bright door handles. Poking out from beneath the rear quarters are sets of twin chrome exhaust tips. A long, sloping rear window leads your eye back to the 3-piece ducktail rear spoiler that makes the rear end of this ride look as cool as the front. At the rear, you'll also find a ""TRANS AM"" decal that stretches across the decklid and a hidden gas fill behind the license plate. The cherry on top of this stunning machine is the factory gold snowflake wheels with Firebird centercaps - all wrapped in white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA's. Take a moment to check out the undercarriage, where you'll discover that this Pontiac still retains its original floor pans, trunk pans, and rear quarters all in very good condition.
Under the hood of this Trans Am is a very tidy stock engine bay that you'd be proud to show off to anyone. At the center is a Pontiac 400ci V8 block with factory heads, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and water pump all painted in correct Pontiac blue. Topping the engine off are a set of chrome valve covers, a Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, and the aforementioned air cleaner with hood scoop. Other items of note under the hood are power steering, power brakes (front disc, rear drum with a newer-looking booster and reservoir), HEI ignition, a new battery, and last but not least a factory Delco Air A/C system that cranks out cold air on demand! The big V-8 is mated up to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via a 10-bolt limited-slip rear end. Exhaust travels from cast manifolds through a dual X-pipe system with FlowMaster mufflers before exiting those chrome tips with an authoritative rumble.
Swing open the long driver's door to reveal a great-looking black OEM-correct interior. The door cards are in good condition, and the driver's door offers a toggle control for the side mirror. A bright sill plate invites you inside for a comfortable seat in one of the black vinyl front buckets. All of the seats are in good condition, and the rear features a bucket bottom with a bench back. The black carpet looks newer, and it's kept nice with carpeted logo floor mats. Between the front buckets is a center console with an armrest/storage box, an ashtray, and the shifter for the automatic transmission. Ahead of the driver is a 3-spoke black OEM steering wheel with a working Firebird horn button on a tilt column. The wheel frames a correct gauge cluster set in a machine-turned aluminum bezel that really pops against all the black. There are gauges for oil, water temp, volts, and fuel, as well as a tachometer and a 100mph speedometer. Also within the bezel are controls for the lights, working wipers, and HVAC that offers hot heat and cold A/C with a strong fan. The odometer reads 78,306 miles, but the title states that the true mileage is unknown. In the center of the dash is a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo that plays your favorite tunes through a set of Jensen 6X9s on the rear package tray. Ahead of the front passenger is an empty glovebox. Around back in the trunk, you'll find a working courtesy light, a vinyl mat, and a car cover.
If you've been looking for a quality ""Bandit"" Trans Am, then you're going to love this example! It's got slick paint, an exceptionally nice interior, a 400ci V-8, power steering, power front disc brakes, working factory air, and most importantly that look and presence that is quintessential 1970s Americana! Give us a call today and be the lucky one to put this Trans Am in your garage!

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
