This 2019 Lincoln Continental is #46 of 80 units produced in the 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition, all of which were modified when new with a stretched wheelbase, structural reinforcements, and elongated rear-hinged rear doors by Cabot Coach Builders of Haverhill, Massachusetts.
This example was first sold at Varsity Lincoln of Novi, Michigan, and is finished in White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat over Alpine Venetian leather upholstery. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that drives all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transaxle, and the car was ordered with the Rear Seat Package, which added sun blinds, inflatable rear seat belts, climate-controlled and power-reclining rear seats, and a center console for the rear occupants. Additional features include a dual-pane sunroof, fixed electronic door handles, adaptive LED headlights, an adaptive suspension, 20? wheels, multi-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, climate-controlled and massaging front seats, a 19-speaker Revel Ultima audio system, and SYNC 3 infotainment with navigation and mobile phone integration. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this 80th Anniversary Continental indicates 8k miles and is offered with factory literature, two keys with integrated fobs.
The Lincoln Continental name was first given to a car custom-built for Edsel Ford in 1939, and 80th Anniversary Coach Edition cars were modified by Cabot Coach Builders of Haverhill, Massachusetts, with work having included stretching the wheelbase six inches, reinforcing the structure of the car, and installing elongated rear-hinged rear doors inspired by the 1961 Continental four-door. This example is finished in White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat (UG), and additional exterior details include a dual-pane sunroof, fixed E-Latch electronic door handles, LED taillights, adaptive LED headlights with signature lighting, and parking sensors.
Fifteen-spoke 20? wheels are mounted with 245/40 Goodyear Eagle tires. The car is equipped with an adaptive suspension.
The heated, ventilated, power-adjustable, and massaging front seats are trimmed in Alpine Venetian leather with black piping and patterned inserts. Amenities include an Alcantara headliner, multi-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, woodgrain trim, serialized front door sill plates, a 19-speaker Revel Ultima audio system, and SYNC 3 infotainment with navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The heated and ventilated individual rear seats are trimmed in Alpine Venetian leather and were specified by the optional Rear Seat Package, which also added a rear center console, power lumbar and reclining functions, sun blinds, B-pillar air ducts, and inflatable rear seat belts. The car is also equipped with a power-deployable rear window sunshade.
The heated multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a configurable digital instrument cluster, which contains a 160-mph speedometer, a fuel level gauge, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer indicates 8816 miles. MSRP $114,865.00
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 produced 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque when new, and it drives all four wheels through a six-speed SelectShift automatic transaxle. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
